Teddy Bears Picnic

Hi there all, sadly this is my last post for Colour Blast but I am super excited to see what the new team create and continuing to play with their wonderful products.

I have collected teddy bears and teapots for many years now, and so decided to combine the two on my last post and make a teapot for one of my teddy bears - a true teddy bear picnic!

I have used a wooden kaisercraft teapot and painted it with black gesso.

I then used a kaisercraft stencill and Colour Blast Paste - Royalty and Lovely Lilac.  I love how these pastes are like soft butter.

Once this was dry I sprayed the pieces with Colour Blast Shimmer Spray - Snowwhite and Bling.  After putting the teapot together I then decorated it with assorted flowers from my stash.

Here are some photos of different angles and close ups:

I have linked the products used to the Colour Blast shop below.

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Creating :)

Scrapbook Boutique DT Reveal

I am up on the Scrapbook Boutique today.  As my last post for this month, I have created another layout using this months wonderful mood board.  I have used the colour and flowers as inspiration.

Using the Heartfelt Creations - Botanic Orchid paper stock as my background and photo mat.

I used Viva Modelling Cream - Pearl and a memory Box Stencil to create the background

I have collated some tags from the collection and 2 doilees.  I later inked the edges of the tags with Distress Ink - Picked Raspberry and Evergreen Bough.

Some Close ups:

Flowers are from Prima

The chipboard is Whichcraft Do You Do - embossed with Stampendous Embossing Powder in Shabby Pink.

Thanks for stopping by and there is still time to enter this months challenge.
Til next time happy crafting :)

Colour Blast DT Reveal

Hi, I am up on the Colour Blast Blog with another layout and a little step by step.  I am just loving the effect Colour Blast products have with black.  I have created the following layout:

I began with a Donna Downey stencil and Colour Blast Pastes - Snow White and Lipstick - putting them on together so they blended a little.

Whilst waiting for that to dry - I coloured some Prima wire and flowers that I had emboss stamped and fussy cut with the same colours in the Shimmer Spray.  Whilst I had the sprays out I put some splatters on the layout.

The chipboard was embossed with Colour Blast Embossing powder - Lipstick.

I have then put the layout together and added some coloured pearls to the flowers.

Til next time - Happy Crafting :)
